We are proud to announce dbWatch 8.0.  We hope you will enjoy the new features we have added and the improvements to existing features.  This page gives you a brief overview of what's new.

MySQL Support

New Navigation

We are proud to finally support dbWatch for MySQL. Many of our clients have secondary systems in MySQL and can now extend dbWatch to also monitor and report on these databases . Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server support has also been enhanced with improved checks and tasks. dbWatch 8.0 features a simplified navigation system. All features are now available through a navigation tree on the left of the interface, giving you two-to-three clicks access for any feature including opening SQL Worksheets, running reports and accessing checks/task details.
SQL Worksheet Improvements Reports improvements

dbWatch's SQL Worksheet can now apply a query simultaneously to any number of databases of any type. This is useful for ad-hoc checks within a family of databases (checking patch versions for your entire set of Oracle databases for instance).

We have also made some adjustments to the user interface to make for a more pleasing experience.

dbWatch 8.0 has significantly improved its cross-platform reporting features, now allowing for merging of multi-database data into the same charts/tables in reports.

The reports can now also be generated as single-document reports in the form of PDF reports.
